Freedom Watch, an American advocacy group has filed a $20 trillion lawsuit against Chinese authorities alleging that coronavirus is a biological weapon.
The group led by prominent lawyer Larry Klayman initiated the suit alongside other -Texas company Buzz Photos and has joined the Chinese government, army, the Wuhan Institute of Virology and head of the institute, Shi Zhengli and army’s Major General Chen Wei as respondents in the litigation.
Indian-based Business Today reports that Klayman is also accusing Beijing of aiding and abetting death, provision of material support to terrorists, conspiracy to cause injury and death of US citizens, negligence, wrongful death, and assault and battery.
The plaintiffs further allege in the lawsuit that the virus was released from the Wuhan Virology Institute, that the COVID-19 virus was “designed” by China to kill mass populations.”
This came about two weeks after Zhao Lijian, China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesman, also alleged “it might be US Army who brought the epidemic to Wuhan.”
Lijian was reacting to a remark by Robert Redfield, the Director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, who said that some Americans who were said to have actually died from influenza may have died from the coronavirus (COVID-19).
“When did patient zero begin in US? How many people are infected?” he asked . “What are the names of the hospitals? It might be US Army who brought the epidemic to Wuhan. Be transparent! Make public your data! US owe us an explanation!”
The $20 trillion sought in the lawsuit is a bigger amount than China’s GDP.
