The Ado Diasporans’Council through its leader, Comr. Patrick Unogwu today commend Ado council boss, Hon. James Oche for his decision to honour a six years pending court order nullifying the selection of one Mr. Christopher Onumah to the exulted stool of Ijigban District Head.

In a statement, Comr.
Unogwu said “the decision of Ado Local Govt. Chairman is in line with our God, our ancestors and the people, explaining that there have been six years Court Order mandating Christopher Onumah, Ado Local Government Council and 4 other defendants in the suit before a High Court in Otukpo, challenging the eligibility of the process which led to the purported selection of Ijigban District Head to maintain STATUS QUO ANTE BELLUM”

He further described the decision of the council boss as a step in the right direction, calling on all parties to accept and respect the the ruling of the court in that matter.

He therefore call on the Ado council boss not to give up his vision and mission of returning Ado to the path of development anchored on peaceful co-existence to intimidation.

He also expresses gratitude to the Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government Area, Hon. James Oche for his bold step to restore peace in Ijigban District by recognising Chief Simon Agbo Oriri as the lawful Acting District Head of Ijigban.

“the entire Community is happy with the development and assured the Executive Chairman of their commitment and support towards ensuring his administration succeeds in its peace building process across the nooks and crannies of the Local Government Areas. He stressed!
