Buba Splashes Car, Motorcycle Gifts on District Heads,Party Leaders and Constituents as His 2022 Empowerment Programme Kicks-off in Adamawa.
Pledges More Empowerment and Skills Development Training for Youths,Women and the Military_
Chairman,House Committee on Foreign Affairs,Rt. Hon.( Dr.) Yusuf Buba Yakub, has said that direct empowerment of all segments of his Constituents remains a cardinal objective of his stewardship to the people of his Constituency.
The lawmaker ,who said this, Wednesday,at Faci,Adamawa State, in an event for the flag-off of a series of empowerment programmes for members of his Constituency,stressed that every political representation without the people in the heart of such representation falls short of the real expectations of the people.
The Gombi/ Hong Rep ,who announced the gift of an SUV car 
for each of the eleven District Heads and the two Local Government Party Chairmen in his Constituency,also, presented four SUV cars to members of the State Exco of the Party from his Constituency as well as twenty-two Vokswagen Golf cars 
to all the Ward Chairmen of the APC in his Constituency. In addition to the above,the lawmaker gave out various brands of cars to his Local Government Area Campaign DGs, Coordinators and others.
Heequally donated over 100 motorcycles
to members of the Party Exco and Admin.Secretaries across his Constituency, including other categories of Party officials.To the about 700 members of the Executive of the APC in the entire Gombi/Hong Federal Constituency,Rt. Hon. Buba also gave a sewing machine,a grinding machine or a water pump
to assist economically in their families and to aid in dry- season farming.
Buba thanked the people for their support,while also promising to ensure that the direct empowerment exercise through which many individuals across his Constituency have received one thing or another will in the next three phases of the exercise, spanning the next eight months, move to the youths and women of the Constituency.
Among those at the event were the former Military Governor of old Plateau State, Brigadier-General,Aliyu Kama,who chaired the occasion;the Secretary to the Government of the Federation,Boss G. Mustapha,who was represented by Dr.Maksha; the Lamido Adamawa,HRH (Alh.) Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa, who was also represented by the District Head of Guyaku,HRH Alh. Ibrahim Usman Pada,as well as the former Federal lawmaker representing the Constituency,Chief Emmanuel Bello. Also present were religious leaders like the former Chairman of Adamawa State Christian Association of Nigeria, Bishop Mike Moses and Mike Manasseh,a former Federal Commissioner.
Others present also included members of the State Executive of the Party, led by the State Chairman,Alh. Ibrahim Bila;traditional rulers in the Constituency,former Commissioners and legislators in the State, including Mr. Atta Mustapha, Commissioner for Youths and Sports in the State during the Sen. Bindow years; and Hon.Julius Kadala,former Commissioner for Education, as well as about five Governorship aspirants of the APC in the State,among whom were Pharmacist Wafari Thelman, the representatives of Dr Modi Halilu and Otumba as well as the representative of Amb. Fatima Balla of NYSC Board, among many other dignitaries, Military and Paramilitary High Chiefs.
