SEXUAL MOLESTATION, RAPE and BABY FACTORY SYNDICATE: The Ordeal of Ochanya Samson
Ochanya Samson, a 17 years old girl who hails from Benue State met with Thomas Bakia evening of yesterday being 4th April, 2019.
“I am an orphan with no father none mother, driven out of the house by my uncle who was displeased with my behaviour” says the molested orphan.
Ochanya Samson lives with a woman who also feels threaten and decided to send her packing because she was scared of Ochany’s uncle.
Ochanya who suffers ordeal in the hand of brutish and barbaric men, was molested by a yet to be identified man as at the time of filling this report who forcefully wanted her to see him and in the midst of the molestation, Ochanya almost lost her eye.
It was further reealed to panafricreporters as at the time of filing this report that Ochanya has suffered rape a number of times then eventually opted for prostitution to survive but at the point of quitting suffers yet another attack.
According to the woman that provided shelter for the poor girl, “Ochanya had a baby when she was 15 years old and her uncle who threw her out, took her to Aba and sold the baby for 500,000 naira and took the money from her. Returning to Abuja, they got a house; same house they are living in at the moment but sent Ochanya away’ says Thomas.
According to Thomas, ‘After I left the woman’s house yesterday night with my friend, I saw how furious they really were. They went behind and threatened the woman to send her away so we don’t get to see her again. This is to ensure, she doesn’t reveal more stories to me’.
Thomas confirmed with unimaginable shock while narrating the story, revealing that no one has really stepped in for this poor orphan yet while her adversaries take her for a ride.
No doubt, this and more are cases and experiences of many in our society today against our societal norms & values and above all, the grand law of the land.
Remember the case of one Ochanya who died sometime last year or early this year as a result of rape and other form of sexual molestation in same Benue state. Govt. NGOs, stakeholders and citizens most get our society ride of this deadly monster says one of the advocates. All the necessary resources to have those parties involved in this matter apprehended and justice served is our appeal.
