Governors should Forfeit Their Security Vote to Pay Minimum Wage – Josiah Joy Biobelomoye

The president of the Joint Health Sector Union of Nigeria on the auspicious commemoration of the 2019 workers’ day at Eagle square, Abuja while interacting with journalists congratulates workers and commend the Buhari led administration for signing into law the minimum wage bill but appeals to governors to forfeit their security vote if need be to pay the just signed into law thirty y thousand (30,000:00) Naira minimum wage.
The president further asserts that it is incumbent on all state governors to comply with the law and pay the minimum wage to their workers adding that the capacity to pay is more of a political will beyond the availability of fund.
  The comrade health worker was categorical as he said that the furtherance of the support for the fight against corruption championed by the President, Fed. Republic of Nigeria will aid the ability and capacity of governors to pay the minimum wage.
