BAYESA PDP DECIDES THEIR FATE IN THE NOVEMBER 16TH GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION

The most anticipated PDP primary election to field a candidate for 26th November, 2019 Bayelsa state governorship election holding at the famous Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre, Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa state. The electoral committee led by H. E . David Darius Ishaku, the executive governor of Taraba state. In his remark assures all parties to the process the commitment of the electoral committee to providing a level play ground that will engender free, fair and credible primary election. It was gathered as at the time of filing this report that the accreditation of delegates for the election noted to be transparent has ended and voting commences. Aspirants, stakeholders, participants and party faithfuls who spoke with panafricreporters described the process as one which will decide the fate of PDP in the November 16th governorship election especially with twenty one (21) aspirants keenly contesting to fly the party flag in the general election hence, the need for internal mechanism to keep the party intact and formidable for the battle ahead. When asked if threaten by APC, party faithfuls confidently refuted the assumption and rumor of APC being on ground in Bayelsa but expressed confident in the popularity of their party and the candidate that will emerge.
