I want to use this medium to thank the Almighty Allah for the successful completion of Ramadan Kareem.
The steadfastness and devotion shown by we muslims during the Ramadan fasting was a reflection of our service to the Almighty Allah that must be sustain even after the holy month of Ramadan.
Ramadan is a month of immense mercies, forgiveness and blessings,it’s a month that teaches patience, perseverance, benevolence and love towards one another.
These are principles that are fundamental to success in personal life and on which a great state and nations are built on.
Prophet Muhammed as an epitome and embodiment of Islam was reputed for altruism, giving of alms, Justice and promotion of peace .
I want to also urge us not to relent in Our prayers for Kogi state and Nigeria at large.
The holy month of Ramadan should provide an ample period for positive attitude for everyone to underline the lesson of sacrifice and brotherly love.
The 30 days fasting and prayer will be meaningful if we allow solemnity of the period to influence our thoughts & actions in relating with one another.
This is a period to reflect the outpouring of generosity towards one another especially the less privileged as they give thanks to Allah for the successful fasting period, they should practice the lessons of the month and abstain from deeds that violate divine injunction.
I enjoined Nigerians especially Muslim faithful to take advantage of the spiritual rebirth offered by Ramadan to pray for his Excellency president Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR), as our Nation enters another face of democratic rule under his leadership, Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello the 4th Executive Governor of kogi state, the New Direction Team, Kogi state and Nigeria at large for breakthrough in all ramifications.
Let’s endeavour to use this period to promote love, peace, Unity and Progress in our dear Kogi state and beyond.
Furthermore, I want to reassure my constituents and the people of kogi state of my commitment to fulfilling and delivering the dividends of democracy and I want to also urge us to put aside all prejudice in order to sustain peaceful co-existence and Unity within Kogi state and Nigeria at large.
I implore all to inculcate these lessons left behind by the month of Ramadan and continue to use it even as the holy month ends.
On this Joyous occasion of this year Eid-El-kabir celebration,I appeal to all kogites to rise against the odds, Keep our prejudice aside and strengthen the bonds of friendship and unity to Keep our dear kogi state and Nigeria together.
As we celebrate,I strongly believe that our state can make rapid Progress in all ramifications if we imbibe the spirit of togetherness under the New Direction Government which we are hopeful to further moving the state forward and together we can achieve it and greatness in the state.
Once again,I assure you that his Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello the 4th Executive Governor of kogi state administration has made security and economic well being and prosperity of the state his priority and will not rest on his oars until we see kogi state of our dream.
I want to stress that we should remember the needy in the course of our merriment.
Conclusively I will urge us all to rally round his Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello re-election for him to consolidate on the good work he has started in Kogi state as there is a saying that one good term deserves another and the reward for good is more good.
