KOGI APC GOV. PRIMARY: Badaru Spelt Out Modi Oparandi
Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, the Jigawa state governor who double as the chairman of the Kogi state APC primary electoral committee unveiled the modi operand for Kogi state APC governorship primary election.
This he did while addressing aspirants, party faithfuls and the press at the state party Secretariat Lokoja in a meeting called at his instance.
The essence of the meeting, he said is to agree on the modi operand for the primary election scheduled to hold tomorrow being 29th August, 2019 at the state stadium, Lokoja.
All delegates are to assemble at the Secretariat for accreditation first then, proceed to the stadium to authenticate their accreditation for admittance into the venue and participate fully.
For those who can’t read or write, opportunity will be given to them to state their choice orally while agent to their choice candidate will write for them upon announcement of the candidate’s name.
At the end of the election only candidate, agents , security and observers are be allowed access to the place where the sorting and counting will be done, he added.
Badaru in usual Democratic expression seeks the opinion of aspirants and party faithfuls in ensuring credible and hitch free primary election, in affirmative disposition, all aspirants and party faithful subscribed to the electoral committee chairman’s set standard.
He urge all parties to the process to do well in abiding by the rule of the game and assured all of maximum security preparedness for a hitch free primary election.
Adding that Kogi people are peaceful and expected that they will further show it in their peaceful behaviour even amidst the primary.
He calls on all aspirants to conduct themselves as party men to accept the outcome of the election while assuring them and their support the committee commitment to Free, fair and credible election.
