Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission Flagged-Off 2019 Easter Pilgrimage

The executive secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Rev. Uja Tor Uja, sisters and partner agencies as well as stakeholders on June 2nd , at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja flagged-off the 2019 Easter Pilgrimage.
Recall that the executive secretary, NCPC, Rev. Uja Tor Uja earlier this year through a statemen by the media unit of the commission stated, this year’s Easter pilgrimage to the Holy Land, Israel, will be flagged off on June 2, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
A pre-flag-off thanksgiving service organised by NCPC on Sunday, June 2, 2019, at the NCPC Chapel proceeded the flag-off.
The 2019 easter pilgrimage flag-off ceremony which was held at the airport features prayer, remarks, praise and worship, intercessory prayers on the body of Christ in Nigeria, successful pilgrimage, Mr. President , the Legislature and the Judiciary and good will messages and vote of thanks.
Speakers in their remarks and good will messages congratulated the pilgrims and tasked them to be of good behavior as good ambassador of Nigeria and pray for the country however they enjoined all pilgrims against abscondment while applauding the leadership and staff of NCPC for their commitment to integrity, unity, love and telorance amongst faiths and religions as well as the comfort of pilgrims.
Rev. Uja Tor Uja, the executive secretary of the commission in his remark full of hope and belief in Nigeria and the Nigeria project in an admonition to the pilgrims told them to always relate their challenges and ask official of the commission on any area they need clarification while on their pilgrimage stating the need for optimal preparation to having the best from the pilgrimage to the Holy Land, Israel but expressed dissatisfaction with the thirty (30) minutes pre-pilgrimage orientation however, informed the audience on the plan of the commission to commence the building of PILGRIM HERITAGE CAMP which he said will commence next year hopefully by God’s grace and enjoined state government to invest in it both financially and in also in prayers.
The Rev. Administrator, tasks the pilgrims and the body of Christ (Christians) in Nigeria to take responsibility for the fast and better development of the country.
He assures all intending pilgrims and stakeholders in the Christian pilgrimage project that all logistics have been put in place here in Nigeria and in Israel for a hitch-free pilgrimage operation; this he said while addressing panafricreporters and other journalists after inspecting with his team the plane the pilgrims are fliying by.
