KOGI POLL: an update into the election

  Against worries and premonition among Nigerians especially political actors and public analyst with prediction of violence at the wake of the governorship and senatorial election in Kogi state, the state so far is in peace relatively, as INEC in preparation for the poll commence gets set for the distribution of sensitive material for the elections across the 21 local government areas of the state . Mike Ogar and Omang Paul, reporters of panafricreporters and on field for coverage and reportage of election said that Lokoja and other places visited so far are peaceful. Kogilites who spoke to them anonymously expressed satisfaction in the process and quest to sensitive material distribution process by INEC, however optimistic and hopeful that the election will be free, fair and credible as at the time of filing this report. When asked on the security situation, panafricreporters correspondents – Omang Paul and Mike Ogar said the Nigeria police, other sister agencies and the military are fully on ground maintaining law and other hence hopeful of maximum security of life and property, all things being equal
