Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has expressed sadness over the deaths of his Special Adviser on Bureau for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Mr Jerome Tor shimbe as well as his Personal Assistant on Special duties Mr Famous Adejo.
Governor Ortom while speaking to journalists on the deaths said he has had a long standing relationship with the late Tor shimbe who was his colleague as council chairman between 1990-1993 and had worked closely ever since. He described the late Adviser as an experienced and competent administrator who has added immense value to his administration, a generous person who loved to share what he had with the needy. He adds.
On his late Personal Assistant Famous Adejo. the governor described him as a hand working young man who defiled all odds to acquire higher education to masters level and was studying for his doctored degree when the cold hand of death snatched him. The governor who described both deaths as very painful later paid a condolence visit to the family of Mr Jerome Tor shimbe and promised to train Adejos only child who is in secondary school to university level. He prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest and the families, the fortitude to bear the losses.
