Buba Sues for Commitment as Skills Acquisition Training for Constituents Commences in Yola .

In fulfilment of his commitment to the empowerment of the people of Gombi/Hong Federal Constituency, as promised during the direct empowerment programme for Party leaders and selected beneficiaries a few weeks ago at his Constituency, lawmaker representing the area,Rt. Hon.( Dr.) Yusuf Buba Yakub, says total commitment to learning a skill and prompt attendance in the place of training remain necessary keys to success and utmost self-reliance in life.

The lawmaker,who made the above remarks, Wednesday,at the Gibson Jalo Cantonment,23 Brigade Nigerian Army,Jimeta,Yola, during the commencement of a skills acquisition and training programme being sponsored by him for some selected members of his Constituency,also re-pledged commitment to the welfare of the trainees all through the duration of the exercise.

Buba, who was represented at the occasion by a former Commissioner in Adamawa State,Atta Mustapha,also promised to provide start-up kits and the needed capital at the end of the exercise for all the trainees drawn from each of the wards and the two major faith-based groups in his Constituency.

The training is being carried out in collaboration with the Nigerian Army for fifty participants.The military is providing the requisite technical inputs to the programme,while the lawmaker is undertaking the provision of other logistics, including school fees for trainees,the cost of start-up tools and capital,cost of kits for practicals as well as cost of transportation for trainees and all the incidental requirements for every individual skill acquired. A certificate of proficiency and attendance will be issued by the military authorities at the end of the three-month programme.
