BENUE PROPERTY ENUMERATION: OCH’IDOMA ADVOCATES FOR SYNERGY BETWEEN SFTAS, NPC

AGABA-IDU HRM John Odogbo ELAIGWU Ochi’ Idoma V. has stressed the need for more synergy between States Fiscal Transparency Accountability and Sustainability Programme, SFTAS, and National Population Commission, NPC, towards data collation for the development of Benue State.

HRM the Och’Idoma V made this call Friday, 11th of March 2022 in his temporary palace when the State Commissioner for Lands, Survey and Solid Minerals, Hon. Bernard Unenge accompanied by the management staff of the Ministry paid homage to the paramount ruler before the unveiling of SFTAS World Bank Assisted Property Enumeration Project and Benue Geographic Information Service, BENGIS, Sensitization Exercise in Otukpo.

The father of the Idoma nation said the NPC has already collated data which will be leveraged upon by SFTAS for the enumeration.

He guaranteed support for the programme, assuring that SFTAS enumerators will be adequately protected and given the necessary cooperation, within the Idoma Kingdom.

Special Adviser to the Governor on Lands, Survey, and Solid Minerals, Barr Jacob Ogwuche appreciated HRM, for his fatherly role, advice, and royal blessings on the Commissioner and his team to succeed in the programme.
