“I was where the Governor asked me to stay when I heard that my friend, Chief Sunday Idenyi James Onwe, Ochinanwata, the civilian DPO is no more. At first, I never believed it, even to this point, it is still difficult to believe what has happened. We got to a point that we have to accept the reality that Sunday is no more alive. Up till now, it is still difficult for me to accept.
“He was very important to me and Ngbojiogu clan. We feel pain that we are compelled to accept that he is no more alive. Nobody is happy at all. In the entire Ngbo, I do not think there is anybody like Sunday. But we are confronted with the reality. I have to comfort myself. I symphatize with you, if at all he is dead.
“We are saying sorry. May God comfort you. Always believe that we shall always stand by you. If the last thing is for us to give him a befitting burial from the local government area, we shall do that. We will make sure we give Sunday and Abraham justice. We will get to the buttom of it. I shall also ensure that everything necessary to be done to facilitate the death benefits of Abraham Uwa at the Council is done to cushion the effects of his death”, he promised.
The Council boss as well used the opportunity to the family of the late traditional ruler of Amoffia-Ngbo, HRH Daniel Aguta. Odah described the late mornach as a father, who was always upright in his dealings.
