Our investigation revealed  that the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike, and his counterparts in  Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, Benue State,  Samuel Ortom  and Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu and others suspected  to be loyal to the Rivers state Governor are currently in a crucial meeting in Paris with the All Progressives Congress (APC) leader and Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

It was further revealed to panafricreporters that Governor Wike and his team jetted   out of Nigeria at about 1:30am on Monday morning, August 22, 2022 for the scheduled appointment.

According to our sources in Paris, the meeting in which the Governor Wike led group are to decide wether to pitch their tents with the APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu or The Labour Party Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, is holding at the Hotel PENINSULA, 19 Kleber Avenue, Paris. It was revealed that, Governor Wike is lodged in room 507, Hotel Peninsula, while the APC leader is on the 6th floor of the same hotel.

Our team of investigative journalist are yet to ascertain at the time of filing this report if Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party who was spotted boarding a flight at the Lagos International Airport, immediately after his presentation at the ongoing NBA conference is heading to Paris to join the meeting.

This suggested to a large extent  why both Governor Nyesom Wike, who is a leading member of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), and the APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu were both absent at the opening of the ongoing NBA  62nd conference in Lagos.

Nigerians will recall that the Rivers State Governor who came second in the PDP Presidential primaries, has been engaging the party in a battle as well frantanising with the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), demanding  for the resignation of the National Chairman of the party, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, among others.
