NCDMB has since relocated all its staff into the building in Q3 of 2020.
Other actions contained in the previous NOGOF communique already implemented include ascertaining the capacity of fabrication yards in Nigeria, gap closure of special skills such as Certification of Level-3 Non-Destructive Testing Practitioners and setting up of Diploma Program for Marine Quantity Surveyors at the Niger Delta University. These were done to replenish aging practitioners and drought of skilled professionals.
Among expected highlights for the 2023 edition are the local content-driven awards focusing on how projects have been executed by related organisations using criteria for each award category to measure contributions to local content development within the oil & gas sector. The awards will honour contributions and efforts throughout the industry value chain.
