The devotional emphasis yesterday was on need to know that God made no mistake in creating the different parts of human body as well as creating human beings into tribes, natives, countries and races. In other word, God never made mistake in creating people of different sizes, shapes, colours and tongues. The different parts have equal importance and usefulness. Apostle Paul illustrated this when discussing the church which is the body of Christ with the Christians in Corinth (read 1 Cor. 12: 12 – 26 at your spare time today). As said yesterday, the varieties of the body parts were for unified relationships. Each works together for good with the others. As in the different tribes, nations, natives, races etc., it was not for divisions and political wars. We are meant for each other and none has superior advantage over others. If human beings all understand this, the world will become what God intended it; a globe for peace, love, unity and harmonious living for all.
Today’s devotional is informing the world that our differences are for good before God and for harmonious living and relationships. Yes, there will be rich, wealthy, privileged classes as well as moderate rich, wealthy, poor and very poor people. But this again is made possible by God so that each of us will be needed by the others. For instance; God knows that if all are rich and wealthy, those to offer manual labours for them will be lacking. The rich and wealthy are created to bless the poor ones, so the poor ones need them (Deut. 15: 11). Has any think why those for menial labours and house cores will never cease from the earth? God wants it so. It is an error for any person seeing self more superior to others. The world has turned the good plan of God upside down in this. God intends that each and every human be concerned with the others for caring and services (1 Cor. 12: 25).
God actually created people with differences, not for divisions, wars, segregations and prejudices. Hidden lesson this devotional wants the world to know is that, with all the different races, natives, social classes, political groups, everybody has same human forms, same colour of blood, colour of brains etc. Those who travel to places hardly see a human being with three noses, five eyes, three mouths lined side by side and some other of similar deformities. This is to make human beings know we all are equally unique and should be treated with honour and respect. Religious leaders, politicians and locals should teach this to their people. Hatred, racism, tribalism, prejudices and others that put humans on war lane with others will be put to rest if this knowledge is properly disseminated.
PRAYER:
FATHER JEHOVAH, it is easy for you to make human beings understand that you created them for cohabiting in harmony, unifications and communal relationships. Let this mind grow in all of us in Jesus name.
