As might have been discovered within the two past days, focus of the devotional was centered on why God’s Words are snubbed by many people. God’s Words, especially from the Christians received hates and attacks globally than any other religion. Against all odds, facts remain that God’s Words are ultimate. It is said that the way of God is perfect and His Word is proven (2 Sam. 22: 31). This means for the world to be perfect, she must embrace the Words of God. Following God’s ways will make the world complete or thorough, excellent and delightful in all respects. The passage stated too that God’s Word is proven. By this word it stands that every word of God has demonstrated or verified truth without doubt. God’s spoken Words in written form, prophetic utterances and verbally expressed have established facts beyond doubt. Sadly enough, many people have refused to acknowledge this. A visit to a complete Christian community dominated by people broken in Spirit will show how excellent and delightful the Words of God has worked in human lives.
Without apology, this devotional stands on a fact, that reason purity is fading out in nations while falsehood is expanding is because the world has refused to walk by the Words of God. The Psalmist says: “The Words of the LORD are pure words, like silver tried in a furnace of the earth seven times (Psa. 12: 6). Is there a society, community, organization or nation seeking for purity, sincerity, clean attitudes of people and corrupt-free operations? Let the Bible that contains the Words of God be her constitution. Purity signifies a state of unadulterated properties. Applying the Words of God in government, traditional and religious administrations will filter the world of every impurity. If Psalm 119: 9 says that it is through the Words of God that a young man can cleanse his ways, the adults whose ways were cleansed from their youth by the Words of God can live a clean lifestyle also.
The importance of the Words of God is been simplified in these devotional aiming at telling the world that it is foolishness to reject God’s Words. God’s Words are too good to be rejected, hated or thrashed away from our hearts. One more thing to say here is that, if any nation wants her people to live in joy and rejoicing, the Words of God must be taught and believed. With the Words of God in the hearts of everyone joy and happiness will dominate the earth and heaven. Prophet Jeremiah said that the Word of God was to him, the joy and rejoicing of his heart (Jer. 15: 16). Practical evidence shows that Christians who properly understand God and His Words live on and on in joy, rejoicing and in happy moods than unbelievers in God. The Word of God has no substitute!
PRAYER:
FATHER GOD, send forth your Words into my heart and mind that I may know you exactly from my heart in the name of Jesus Christ.
