Groups,Former Colleagues, Other Individuals Continue to Hail President Tinubu on Buba’s New Appointment

Serving and erstwhile Members of the legislature at both Federal and State levels have continued to pour encomiums on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment of Rt.Hon.(Dr.) Yusuf Buba Yakub as Director- General of the Directorate of Technical AidCorps,DTAC. They describe President Tinubu as a leader who understands talents and how to deploy these talents to areas of greatest need.

Leading the pack of the latest enthusiastic well-wishers for the appointment of the new DG,Thursday,in Abuja, Chairman, House Committee on Cooperation and Integration in Africa,Rt.Hon.Kwamoti Bitrus Laori,in a letter addressed to Buba expressed great pleasure in what he termed the “well-deserved”appointment.The former Deputy Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly,who currently represents Demsa/Numan/Lamurde at the Green Chamber in Abuja, said:

“As a seasoned administrator and legislator per excellence,you doubtless possess the requisite experience and knowledge to deliver the needed transformation in DTAC in the collective interest of Nigerians,Africans, Caribbean and the Pacific countries,in line with your mandate.” He prayed God to grant Buba the wisdom to be effective in his new role.

Also speaking in a letter of felicitations conveyed to Buba,Hon.Aliyu Wakili Boya, Chairman,House Committee on Federal Colleges of Education,a past Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) in Adamawa State, expressed optimism that Buba would continue the good work he is known for and inspire those around him.The Member representing Fufore/Song Federal Constituency said:
“I am not surprised by your appointment to this position, knowing your pedigree,your unwavering commitment to public service; leadership, integrity and vision,which have earned you this appointment.I am always impressed by the passion and energy that you bring to your work.”

In a similar development,a group led by the former Federal lawmaker who represented Mubi North/Mubi South/ Maiha in the 9th House of Representatives,Hon.Ja’afar Abubakar Magaji,also paid a courtesy visit on Rt.Hon.Buba at the DTAC headquarters, Thursday.They lauded the selfless service to humanity of the  Adamawa-born former Rep and prayed for his success at the Agency.

Among the visitors were Hon.Abdullahi Speaker(Excellency),a former gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of the APC in Adamawa State;Hon.Rufa’i Gombi,a former Member of the Adamawa State House of Assembly and Comrade Adamu Barama, Senor Special Assistant ( Political and Legislative Matters) to Hon.Ja’afar Magaji.
