Hon. Hajiya Inna Galadima has emerged the first female local government chairman of Jere LGA of Borno State. Hajiya Galadima’s emergence automatically makes her the first female to be elected council chairman in the state.
Hajiya Inna Galadima of the APC, was declared Chairman-elect of Jere Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno.
Galadima, a one-time commissioner and special adviser in Borno was declared the winner by the Returning Officer of Jere LGA, Prof. Mohammed Konto.
Konto said Galadima scored 110,459 votes to defeat her closest rival in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 2,478 votes.
Hajiya Inna Galadima’s emergence has further expresses Gov. Zulum’s commitment to gender equality and women friendliness in the state.
Hajiya Galadima exudes competency, confidence, generosity, soundness of mind, love for others; she is loved and accepted by all.
She comes with the simplicity of mind, defined action plan, right disposition, energy, commitment and yearning for service to add value to the system.
