Life becomes difficult to walk through when everything around us hardened against us. At times, every step taken towards achievement seems to be blocked with a hardened-rock-nature to the extent that moving forward or retreating back proves very impossible. Globally today, we see that the whole world is standing face to face with hard-rock-situations. There are financial hardships, unemployment, inflation, insecurities, hunger and pestilences, diminishing medical knowledge in our present time. Thousands of people find it difficult to feed twice a day. Everything is going out of the reach of the less privileged. There are cries everywhere seeking for who will proffer solutions. To an ordinary mind, solution is too far. But remember yesterday’s devotional that said “Your Case is Easy for Jesus.”
In the days of Moses, the Israelites were once in similar condition on their ways to the Promised Land. They were stranded in a wilderness where there is no food or drinking water. Such a predicament usually gives way to turning away from our maker. The Israelites saw a huge chunk of rock standing before them. The rock contains water in its inside, but they could not see the water.God told Moses that He is going to stand on the rock while Moses should strike the rock for water to gush out for the Israelites. Moses did as the Lord instructed and water came out of the rock. In a second scenario, God told Moses to only speak to the rock for water to come out.
Three things stand out here. For the water to come out of every rock of life: (1). God’s presence should be sought, (2). Application of human force to strike the rock is necessary, and (3). Speaking the word of faith in prayers to bring forth the water are needed. In this devotional, we must agree that whatever is standing against life comfort is our rock. As there is water under every massive rock, so there is solution in every hardened problem. With faith there is healing in every sickness. There is plentiful harvest in every arid land of life. What I do not know is the hardness of your problem, the dryness of your finance and sources of your food supply. But I can assure you that underneath of all your problems are solutions.
In the mind of faith and spiritually speaking, Christians are to know that all problems orchestrated by works of demons and Satan have solutions on the inside. Have strong faith and confront that rock through the name of God the Almighty and our Lord Jesus Christ to have your water pump up. Geologically, rocks are frozen water. God’s supernatural power can bring out the water in the rock. Job 38: 30 says “…The water becomes hard like the stone and the face of the deep is frozen.” Underneath all problems we pass through should be seen as a frozen moment that heated prayers can melt into liquid. Stop the doubtful thought saying how can there be water in a rock. Let this faith be in you today as you either strike or speak to your problems standing as rocks. There is indeed water in your rock.
PRAYERS:
1. Pray God to direct His presence to stand over the location of your problems to melt it into waters in Jesus name.
2. The Bible says that God is He who discovered the deep things out of the darkness and bring them to light (Job 12: 22). Ask God to cast solutions to all your problems manipulated in the darkness in Jesus name.
3. In Psalm 42: 7 the Bible says the “deep calls to the deep” use the name of Jesus and call out anything that belongs to you from the satanic deeps to come to you today.
POSITIVE CONFESSION:
As a child of God I will be fruitful, increase abundantly, multiply and wax exceedingly as from today. This is my entitlement in Exod. 1: 7.
